Celebrate a Timeless Christmas this Week

There’s something nostalgic about the holidays. Whether you’re remembering when your kiddos were little, or when you were a kid yourself, Christmas holds a host of memories that we love to cherish. Venture out to Johnson City this weekend for a Timeless Christmas, and stay at Roadrunner RV Park.

The Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park is hosting Christmas at the LBJ Boyhood Home on December 5, 2015. Come out to tour historic homes that will be decorated for Christmas. The event takes place from 6 – 9 p.m.

The LBJ Boyhood Home will be lit by lamp, which offers an intimate tour that really takes you back in time. It will create an authentic environment to envision the home as it was over 80 years ago at Christmastime. You’ll get to see a presentation of a 1920s Christmas, and handmade ornaments and toys will give the event that vintage touch.

You can take a five-minute shuttle to the Johnson Settlement afterward to experience an 1860s Christmas. The whole evening will have you feeling reflective, merry and bright. Call Roadrunner RV Park today to book your holiday vacation, and give yourself the break you deserve.
